He was 55 and, as a colleague of his at Stanford <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stanforddaily.com\/2013\/11\/04\/clifford-nass-communication-professor-dies-at-55\/\">said<\/a>, &#8220;at the peak of his career.&#8221; I found Cliff&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/chime.stanford.edu\">research<\/a> on human-computer interaction to be invaluable, and I had the great pleasure of meeting him once and talking with him several times.
