I’ll be talking about some of the themes of The Shallows<\/i> in three upcoming events in the Northeast:<\/p>\n

This Saturday, Oct. 16, I’ll be at the Boston Book Festival, participating in a panel discussion called “Internet or Not?” with William Powers (author of Hamlet’s BlackBerry<\/i>) and Eric Haseltine (author of Long Fuse, Big Bang<\/i>), moderated by MIT’s Andrew McAfee. It’s free, and details are here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Oct. 18, I’ll be giving a talk at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. The talk is part of the school’s fall symposium, called “Slowing in a Wired World,” and it’s free, too. Details<\/a>.<\/p>\n
